I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You're doing things you've never done before, and more importantly, you're doing something.

-Neil Gaiman

Dear Readers,

Hope you are exploring the world of laser dentistry. Hope you are learning new. It gives me great pleasure in bringing to you another edition of our journal “Journal of Dental Lasers.” It is heartening to see the number of articles being submitted for publication. Our previous issue has a variety of case reports and original articles ranging in the fields of periodontology, oral surgery, and restorative dentistry, and we look forward to many more such contributions.

Finally, JDL is a fully accessible online journal and therefore has a greater reach among our peers. We at Society of Oral Laser Applications would like to encourage the several postgraduate students carrying out studies and thesis topics on dental lasers to take advantage of this platform to share your experiences and findings with our colleagues.

Happy reading and happy learning.
